“There was nothing wrong with the timbers and they were not the responsibility of Baldwins – they were the responsibility of Tilbury Douglas,” he said. Counsel for Baldwins, Robert Weir, argued successfully that Baldwins did everything “that could be reasonably expected” in relation to the metal plates. The court heard that the accident was caused by the failure to use metal spreader plates under the crane and the reliance on timber sleepers following a week of rain. Its jib ended up across four railway lines and a road, and crashed through the roof of a house and came to rest in a bedroom where a child, Ruth O’Sullivan, was sleeping. The court case arose from an incident in the early hours of Sunday 28 June 1998 when a 90t Liebherr mobile crane, supported by timber matting, sank into the wet ground. Two other companies, the client London Underground and main contractor Tilbury Douglas Construction have admitted the charge and will be sentenced at a later date.

The jury at Isleworth Crown Court took less than an hour to find the company not guilty of breaching health and safety regulations.

Have also tried new beta Steam interface available and fault with 64 bit TS still happening.įault I describe above has only started since my TS2019 updated to TS2020, no problems at all with 32 bit or 64 bit TS before that core update.UK rental company Baldwins Industrial Services Ltd has been cleared by a jury of responsibility for one of its cranes crashing into a house while working on the refurbishment of Boston Manor railway station in west London. My own win10 'Defender' and firewall setting checked and all as they should be, allowing the required Steam connections through.Īll of my other non-Steam games work as normal, no problems.

I would think OP's Pauls fault more related to anti-virus or other internet connected software causing Steam problems, but only a thought. Have today just tested with router off and Lan connection unplugged, as Paul found worked for him with his fault, my 64 bit freeze still happens.

No movement, no freezing/lock-up.įault happens with 64 bit regardless of online or offline mode selected. The freezing/lock-up only happens once driving commences, not when static and not moving along any route and any loco tested. Only 64bit TS2020 is freezing since the TS2019 core update, 32bit fine and no problems.

all, just an update on my TS2020 'freezing/lock-up' after now 'random' mins of game-play and a few days of testing. Next steps: We are working on a resolution and estimates a solution will be available in late September." You can also search in the Windows Control Panel for 3rd party audio device control panels and disable Multi-channel audio or Virtual Surround Sound, if these options are available. Workaround: To mitigate the issue, open settings in the impacted game and disable multi-channel audio, if this option is available. This may result in games sounding different than customers are used to and may have missing channels. Due to customer feedback, we are reverting this change as some games and some devices are not rendering multi-channel audio as expected. At the request of some of our audio partners, we implemented a compatibility change that enabled certain games to query support and render multi-channel audio. Microsoft has received reports that audio in certain games is quieter or different than expected. "Audio in games is quiet or different than expected

Sound issues are present in Windand TS2020 will be recognised as a different game to TS2019 so settings may differ so make sure you've followed the advice below:

The OP is simply trying to help people get into the game for the time being. Nobody is saying it's a permanent solution.

I'm using Windows 10 (1903) and neither of these problems existed until the TS2020 update came thru. Those two problems didn't exist in TS2019. It's up to DTG to Fix the Low in cab sound volume and the out of memory problems which they introduced in the TS2020 update.

We shouldn't have to do that to fix a DTG problem. Once the route etc starts loading you can plug the cable back in again quite safely! All you have to remember to do is to pull out the ethernet cable before you click Start.
